ho said the classics can't be hilarious? This modern adaptation
of Moliere's classic casts Tartuffe as a deposed TV
evangelist who cons Orgon and his family out of their money
and property. The action takes place in a religious
television studio in Baton Rouge where characters cavort to
either prevent or aid Tartuffe in his scheme.
Moliere's legendary characters are delightfully at home in
this modern-day version that was a hit in New York's Circle
in The Square!
